April Recap: Spring-ing into Action!

We’ve watched the Spring flowers bloom on several different job sites this past month. We've also spent a lot of time with our community, educating the youth about careers in the trades and hunting down potential employees. See for yourself what all we've been up to!

In Boone, we’re working on a basement excavation and footer installation. We’re also putting footings in for a housesite in Swannanoa that we cleared for last year. On our commercial site in Valdese, concrete is poured for storage building pads and we’re continuing to work on a home build up Gateway Mountain. The road construction in Black Mountain is wrapping up while we’re burning the brush.

At our home base, Marion, we’ve moved the ditch line back for one family’s yard, poured for a concrete retaining wall, and got started on a garage demolition. We also installed French drains and concrete slabs for a soon-to-be wedding venue.

It’s been a great month of bonding with community members, youth and our own team! We were invited to speak in Career Cafes at both East McDowell Middle School and Foothills Community School. We also set up to shake hands at the Community Resource Fair hosted by NC Works. ⚾️ We got to take the team out to McCormick Field for an Asheville Tourists game and for National Administrative Professionals Day, we sent our office staff to the Rock Barn Spa!
