The two main types of roofing are Asphalt Shingles and Metal Roofing.
Asphalt roofing is the most affordable and comes in a few different styles.
3 Tab Shingles are 20 to 30-year shingles and are inexpensive. Architectural shingles are made with more asphalt but are not recommended for roofs with low slopes.
Metal Roofing is popular among residential homes. There are a few types of metal roofing.

What Cleaning Products Can I Use On My Floor?
When cleaning Laminate Flooring, do not steam or use wet mops this can cause swelling or warping. When a liquid is spilled clean quickly and only with a damp washcloth. Sweep regularly to assure there is no dirt or debris buildup. Occasionally you can clean the flooring with a product made specifically for Laminate Flooring and follow the instructions provided on the package.
Carpet Care is more of scheduled care. Vacuum high-traffic areas often, attend to spills immediately and steam every 18 months to a year. You can hire a professional to clean your carpets or you can rent or buy a carpet steamer. For old, deep stains that may have been missed, you can buy spot and stain removal products.
There are a lot of Do's and Don'ts when it comes to cleaning Hardwood Floors. Use a cloth to clean spills, sweep or vacuum regularly and clean with a protective hardwood floor cleaner. Do not scrape away stuck-on dirt or harden substances. When moving furniture make sure to never slide the object across the flooring.
The key to keeping Tile and Stone Flooring clean is simple. Sweep often and never leave standing water on the floor. Never use cleaners that are not made specifically for tile or stone flooring. A common mistake is using soap which can dull the flooring and increases the chances of mildew.
How Long Do I Have To Wait To Stain My Deck?
We recommend waiting at least three months but no longer than 6 to allow the decking to properly dry before adding stain or paint.
Do I Need A Permit?
NC Builders code dictates that you do need a permit for most construction work done on residential properties. However, ANY work done on commercial properties requires a permit to be pulled and inspections performed accordingly. As a normal practice of JC Property Professionals we pull a permit on any and all jobs to be sure everything we do meets standards and are performed up to NC Building code.
I Need A Tree Cut Down But I Want To Keep The Wood, Is That Possible?
Absolutely. We can come in, "drop and leave" the tree. If you have the proper equipment to remove the debris and cut the wood down so you can chop it up and use it then we will gladly do that for you.
What If I Have A Tree Equipment Can't Get To?
Not a problem! We have a bucket truck that we use to hold large limbs in the air to pull around or over structures or other trees. If the bucket truck will not reach the tree we will send a climber up in the tree and they will use the proper ropes to cut small portions of the tree down and lower it to the ground crew who will bring it to the right area for them to chip or load away.
Do I Have To Be Home When The Work Is Being Done?
You do not have to be home when we are working on the project. When the contract is signed we will have already discussed what is going to happen on your property and we will let you know when we will be on your property and when we are done. If you decide you want to be home when we are working that is not a problem. We know it can be intriguing to watch the work being done. we just ask that you observe from inside the home or make sure you stay out of the hazardous working areas for your safety as well as our crews safety.
My Driveway Gets Washed Out Every Time It Rains, What Can Fix This Problem?
To control erosion problems the best solution is giving the water a true place to travel through. The driveway needs to be graded with the cross slope angled towards a ditch.
The ditch needs to be placed on the side of the driveway where it can flow out to a drain or another premade ditch along the main road.
If the ditch along your driveway does not have a way for the water to flow to it will create a large puddle at the base or trail across the bottom of the driveway leaving a large rut.
If you need to connect two ditches that are on opposite sides of your driveway you will have to dig and bury a drain pipe across so they can connect.
